# Having trouble logging in? (Resetting or changing your password)

Forgotten your password or can’t get into your account? Here’s how to get back in 🔑

 

**Reset your password**

1. Go to the [reset password page](https://app.moshy.co.nz/users/password/new).
2. Enter the email address you use for Moshy.
3. Click **Send password reset link**.

We’ll email you a link to set a new password. It only works for a limited time, so use it as soon as it arrives.

 

**Change your password**

1. Log in and go to your [Profile](https://app.moshy.co.nz/profiles).
2. Next to **Password**, click **Edit**.
3. Enter your current password, then enter and confirm your new one.
4. Click **Save**.

**Signed up with Google or Apple?**  
If you created your account by connecting Google or Apple, you didn’t need a password. You can still create one, so you can log in with your email too:

1. Log out of your Moshy account if you’re signed in.
2. Follow the steps under **Reset your password** above.

**Still can’t get in?**  
A few things can get in the way:

- **Your email doesn’t match.** Check the spelling matches the email address you signed up with.
- **The reset email is in your spam or junk folder.** It’s worth checking there before requesting another link.
- **Your account has been deactivated.** If you’ve previously deactivated your account from your Profile page, you won’t be able to log in. Get in touch and our team will reactivate it for you.
